ON THE TWELFTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS (blah, blah, blah, blah, blah) 63 BASSETS HOWLING FOR HELP!

A commercial breeder in Northern California has been forced to close, leaving 63 basset hounds in desperate need of homes at Christmastime.  All are females, most with limited socialization to humans, but bassets are naturally social dogs and they are expected to do well in homes with a little TLC.  Young, from 1-3 years of age, probably not house broken since they have spent most of their lives in outdoor kennels, but they are learning to use doggie doors.

They all have that wonderful basset capacity for love and really are beautiful dogs, as you'll see when you visit the link to Golden Gate Basset Rescue, which has taken the dogs to place in permanent or foster homes.

Will you help?

Find out how to adopt, foster, or donate funds to assist with their spay surgeries and other medical needs at Golden Gate Basset Rescue.   There are some beautiful dogs of all color varieties.

Take it from someone who knows.  No dog loves you quite as much as an adopted one.  They know you've saved them.  Just ask my sweet, adoring Peaches and Beau.  Before you choose a puppy from another breeder and help keep commercial kennels like these in business, please, please consider bringing home one (or more) of these young beauties that really need a home and a happy ending for the holidays.

PLEASE MAKE THE HOWLIDAYS HAPPY FOR A LUCKY BASSET!
