BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

We in the west are enjoying lots of sunshine (and not much wet), but much of the country is buried in snow.  One hopes that doesn't include pets that are left outdoors without food or shelter.  It can be, and should be, considered a crime to do so.  A fur coat can do only so much to protect a dog or cat from freezing temperatures. Here's what the Humane Society of the United States recommends if you see a pet left out in the cold.
