NO MORE HOUNDING! HOORAY FOR THE GOV!

California, you did it!

  

Thanks to all of your calls and emails, SB 1221, 

the bill to eliminate the cruel practice of “hounding” 

(using hunting dogs to chase bears and bobcats to 

exhaustion in order to shoot the terrified animals out 

of trees at point-blank range) was signed by 

Governor Brown.  

This is a tremendous victory for the dogs and 

wildlife of California.
